|
Posted: 22 March 2007 "This year we have a chance to look back at where we came from, with cinematic favourites from the BFI archives and also, revel in where we are now – immersed in a vibrant culture, sharing experiences and a passion for film, with the widest possible audiences. That’s why we have, once again, chosen Winona eSolutions to provide our ever-increasingly important web presence…" comments Tim Platt, Marketing Manager, LLGFF, on the collaboration with Winona.
The 21st London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival from 21 March – 4 April 2007 is the fourth successive collaboration for Winona with the LLGFF and the fourth with the London Film Festival during the same period. Last year a massive 27,200 people attended the 63 sell out film screenings, plus events and workshops.
The LLGFF is the third largest UK film festival. Last year, with the 20th LLGFF, the website had its strongest year yet, with a 30% increase on 2005 of pages viewed and website subscribers. With the excitement and buzz surrounding this years festival the LLGFF's presence and reputation is going from strength to strength.
"Winona have given us a means to engage with our audience, embrace new web technologies available and also, as a key tool, drive our booking public online, so we have a faster and more efficient service at the heart of our Festival.” Tom Platt. |
